On January 27, 2019, two bombs exploded at the Cathedral, in the town of Sulu in Mindanao. The first blast occurred during Sunday mass, sending church goers rushing outside, where in a second bomb detonated. It happened outside the compound as government forces were responding to the attack. The bombing incident cause havoc to the crime scene. Some investigators concluded that there's a foul play in the scene. However, these happenings lead to the conflict of two largest religion in the country. The terrorist attacks the catholic church to start war between Muslim and Christians. The church where supposed to be a place of peaceful worship was bombarded that cause carnage. According to Philippine National Police (PNP), at least 23 people were killed and 109 others are injured. The attack was executed with improvised explosive devices. Terrorists who commit terrorism have their own beliefs. Perpetrators generally motivated to attack with a mix of factors and reasons, including here is the dislike of the system of Christian or other religious beliefs. It is said that the bombing was attempted to bring religious war. Islamic State Group admitted that they're the group behind the bombing incident but authorities are still verifying the claimed attack.

The bombing incident is said to be a work of suicide bombers as seen in the CCTV nearby the scene. A woman was carrying the bomb. It shows that there is a connection between suicide terrorism and Islamic Fundamentalism or any of the religions.

In addition, one of the verses in The Holy Bible of Muslims, which is the Quran tells them that fighting is not prohibited as long as it is in the cause of God. They can kill and fight those people who have an opposite belief in them. It is one of the reasons why authorities think that Muslims is the one who is starting the war, the fact that their bible show violence.

Hence, the bombing incident nearly focuses about the conflict between any other religions. The different sides of the story where it tells why and who is the persons or groups behind on what happened in Sulu. The church bombing was all about terrorism. There is a bomb maker, and another person who plants it and another one who detonates it so the crime couldn’t be just one person. It also shows that religion is one of the reasons why there is a terrorism. Plenty research and confirmation are needed to prove this terrorist act of violence in mutually religion. As time goes by, the beliefs and the stand of every believers is expanding and going stronger. Looking for just one group who did the bombing isn't enough. People should teach the next generation the true meaning of unity in any religion. Church bombing is not relevant. Peace comes from the heart. Having different religion but the same goal can make everyone united. It is not just fighting or our stand but also having the mindset of understanding that not everyone has the same perspective.
